The Kwento Project was conceived for the love of folklore from all over the Philippines. With the help of seven talented storytellers, ten stories from Davao, to Pampanga, to Ilocos Norte were borrowed and lovingly retold for a new generation of young readers.
The stories are also designed especially for parents to foster better bonds with their children. Like the Filipino folklore of yore, the heart and soul of the Kwento Project is the connection between the storyteller and the audience.
